Hi!
My name is Lori Gardner, Au.D., President of Hear Virginia, and I want to help you, or your family member, enjoy all that life has to offer. For over thirty years I have been dedicated to providing comprehensive hearing healthcare services and state-of the-art hearing instrument technology to thousands of satisfied patients of greater Richmond and Central Virginia.
My experience as an audiologist lets me understand that hearing loss is a deeply personal and emotional issue. As a result, I believe in educating my patients about hearing loss so that fear of the unknown ceases to influence one’s ability to actively seek solutions. Our interactive, educational video was created to help you discover everything you need to know to make effective decisions regarding your hearing health. If you haven’t done so, click here to view our video.
Once you have viewed our video, please call with any questions you may have. Our office manager, Gail, will be glad to schedule an appointment for you. Too busy during week days to schedule an appointment? No problem! We offer Tuesday evening appointments. Â Make your appointment now by calling 804-282-5590.
When we meet, my staff and I will spend time getting to know more about your personal life and ask you to describe the situations in which you are struggling to communicate. We will also look inside your ear to make sure everything is functioning as it should, and that ear wax is not the cause of your hearing loss. Following your hearing test, we will know whether or not hearing aids will be of benefit to you. We will review the results together and I will offer you the best options available to you based on your lifestyle, your level of hearing loss and your personal budget. Then, I’ll let you be the judge! Take advantage of our no-obligation demonstration of the newest hearing aids available, and hear for yourself the difference hearing aids can make!

Don’t wait a moment longer to take the steps necessary for you to experience the sounds that make living special. Making the decision to call for an appointment or to sign up for a no-obligation demonstration, will be one of the best decisions you have ever made. You have my word on that. If you want to talk to me in person, please don’t hesitate to call me at 804-282-5590. My staff and I look forward to sharing your journey to better communication.

Dr. Lori's English springer spaniel (Isha) was our first "nice" president of public relations and greeted our clients until her final decline in August 2006. Although Dr. Lori promises that there will be another "nice" president one day, she just has not found the right successor to this kind and gentle animal.
